Ideal combination
The combination of a Friesian roof and hydraulic hatch vehicles (HLW) is ideal for multiple-function shipping. The hatch vehicle and hatches take up little space on the ship. Particularly suitable for container ships that do not want to sacrifice a lot of hold opening capacity (for a hold of 80 metres, about 2.60 metres remains covered). The hatches have a total stacking height of 5 cm, implying a total stacking height of just 2.40 m. A seasoned skipper can easily open and close a roof of this type single-handed.
Most hatch vehicles of the HLW type have four-wheel drive and are fitted with a cable-winder, stacking platform, TL, halogen lighting and a hydraulic system to raise the hatch with a sensor.
Appropriate control and camera systems are among the optional extras available.
